The Reds have recalled from Class AAA Louisville OF Jesse Winker (#33). When he plays, Winker will be making his Major League debut. Winker was hitting .323 at AAA Louisville with four multi hit games and one 3-hit game. He is the Reds number 3 prospect, according to MLB.com.
He takes the roster spot vacated by RHP Barrett Astin, who was optioned to Louisville.
