VIDEO: Canadian Man's License Plate Refused Again Because of His Last Name

A Canadian man cannot personalize his license plate with his last name, Assman (OSS-men). That's because his last name is spelled A-S-S-M-A-N. A license plate review committee for the nation said his last name could be misread and cause offense. The Saskatchewan man, of German descent, said this is not the first time he has had requests denied and doubts it ever will be. But, he still loves his name. A committee spokesman said that they have to abide by guidelines as they do not think drivers will pronounce the name plate properly. This isn't the first Canadian that has been denied a license plate that was his last name...
