Maizey is a spunky young 2-year-old mixed breed. She has lived with cats and did well. She lived with children but has so much energy that she was prone to knock them down with her zoomies. She is housebroken and is not destructive in the home.
The fundraising event Animal Friends has going on is on Saturday, August 24th from 6-8PM. It is being held at the shelter and called Art Unleashed. This is a new fundraising event where we are having a silent auction for local artwork we have collected. We also will have artwork made by the adoptable animals. During the event, the animals will be 50% off and have live music playing for them in the dog adoption wing. We also will have food and drinks for the attendees.
