Tucker is a pint sized guy only weighing about 20 pounds. He is 5 years old and has a sponsored adoption fee! (this means he is free). He does need to be the only dog in the home as he does not like sharing his snacks or humans. He is good with children.
5K and Dog Jog that is coming up on June 1st at Waterworks Park in Fairfield! This is the second time doing this event and it was very successful last year in raising money for the pups at the shelter!
The day begins with a chip-timed 5K run/walk (3.1-mile) for people only, followed by our leisurely 1.5 mile Dog Jog. Don’t want to run/walk? Then come and cheer on the participants. We will have snacks, including FLUBS ICE CREAM cones and pup cups! The Petmobile will be attending if you are looking to bring home a new family member.
5K registration is $35. Day of the race, registration fee is $40. Register through Home - Animal Friends Humane Society (animalfriendshs.org)
