Stewie is a 7 year old bulldog/beagle mix that weighs around 45 pounds. Stewie was surrendered to us by his owner because they had health issues that were preventing them from taking care of him. They said Stewie is housebroken and crate trained, will come to you when you call his name and knows basic commands like sit and lay down. He lived with a goldendoodle in his past home and never had any issues with that dog, but the owner thinks they got along so well because the doodle was larger and laid-back. Stewie does have a high prey drive and likes to chase after animals that are smaller than him, so he should only go into a home with no other animals, or with dogs that are bigger than him with a laid-back personality. He gets along with adults and children, but may be too high energy for very young kids in a home. Although he's great with all adults, Stewie seems to especially love men and would be a perfect fit for a younger guy who wants an active companion. Stewie LOVES time outside in nature and enjoys using his nose to explore his surroundings.
