The global chip shortage is taking its toll on auto-makers everywhere. Ford has continued to make trucks, just storing them until the chips come in and they can finish them and ship them to dealerships. The problem with that, however, is that they need somewhere to put them until then. What better place than Kentucky Speedway? I'd hate to be the one in charge of the keys.
