He's a 5 year old German Shepherd that was brought to us as a stray, and was injured when he was found. One of his front legs had to be amputated, so he's been residing in one of our foster homes so he can heal and find his forever home. Here are all the things the foster mom had to say about Wolfie:
Affectionate, velcro dog
Loves to swim, run, fetch ball
Smart, very trainable
Does not chew or hurt anything in the house, will countersurf though!
Does not like crating, but is trustworthy when we're gone.
Does fine with calm dogs, I have three. But is possessive of toys especially his ball. My dogs don't challenge him.
Doesn't like dogs that jump on him or are too playful, lynn thinks insecure about his missing limb.
Fine with children but will knock little ones down because of clumsiness.
Interested in my cats, but doesn't try to hurt them
They will also have an adoption event on Saturday at the Kroger Marketplace in Middletown - For Your Pet Adoption Event that runs Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9am-1pm. Our Petmobile will be in attendance with adoptable cats and dogs. Kroger will supply coupons and free samples of pet products, and a donation bin will be set up for anyone wanting to shop for supplies to donate to us while visiting.
