Reds 6 Jays 3

Three 6th inning doubles by Spencer Steer, Ty France and Jake Fraley plated four runs to break open a 2-2 game and propelled the Reds to victory.

The four run 6th topped their 27 inning run total (3) in the three game series vs Kansas City

RHP Julian Aguiar tossed four innings of two-run ball in his MLB debut. Five relievers handled the remaining 15 outs.

Offense: 9 H, 3 BB, 8 K

TJ Friedl: 3 H, HR. 5th in 12 games since August 7.. 10 in 48 games this season.
France: 2 H, 2B, 2 RBI.
Steer: RBI 2B. MLB best 25th extra base hit w/RISP.

Aguiar: 4 IN, 4 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 1 K, 57 pitches. Threw 4 pitches: Sinker (36), Change (10), Slider (8), Curve (3). Vladimir Guerrero annihilated a hanging slider for a 430-foot solo homer in the 1st.

Bullpen
Santillan 1.1
Moll 1.0
Farmer: 0.2. Entered w/ runner on 2nd and 1 out in 7th. BB. Guerrero GO to end threat.
Wilson 1.0
Diaz 1.0, HR

Santiago Espinal: 2B, R. Got big ovation in return to Toronto. Tipped his batting helmet to the crowd.

Elly: 0-3, BB, RBI. 1st sac fly of season, 2nd career. Last 10 games: 5 for last 39, 1 R (HR), 0 SB.

Tyler Stephenson grounded into a DP on the first pitch following a 4-pitch Elly BB. I'd love to know the percentage of time the Reds swing at the 1st pitch when Elly gets on with 2nd base open.

How they scored:
3rd Elly sac fly, 1-1
4th Friedl HR, 2-2
6th Steer RBI 2B, 3-2 Reds
6th France 2-R 2B, 5-2 Reds
6th Fraley RBI 2B, 6-2 Reds
