A preseason tie. It was uninspiring as it sounds. Thank the heavens they got rid of overtime in preseason. Get Joe back after this week. Get me to Week 1.
The offense scored a TD.....first in 22 drives.
Still not convinced they have a backup QB: Jake Browning did create with his legs and bounced back from a pick to orchestrate a 2-minute TD drive.....16-22-160, INT.
Trevor Siemian has started in this league (30), put up award winning performances and won in this league. But has shown little in camp. He was 7 for 14 for 62 yards. He did lead an end of the half FG drive. He has to be behind Browning in the pecking order, I'd think. And Browning has never taken a snap in a regular season games.
Johan Williams was the lone offensive started to play....he got a drive.
Falcons went 15 plays vs the Bengals starting D to open the game. So they got work. Mike Hilton tip/Joseph Ossai pick bailed them out. The Falcons had over 100 yards on the opening drive, but also had penalty after penalty.
I love watching Chris Evans split out and catch passes. Good luck with that matchup for a defense.
Max Scharping seemed to get a lot of run at center?
