Twol local high school products made the All-Star team this year: Andrew Benintendi, Royals, (Madeira) and Kyle Schwarber, Phillies (Middletown).
That got me thinking about all the former high school baseball players from the area that became MLB All-Stars. What a list. What a team we could field.
The following list includes 27 players that were named to the MLB All-Star team at least once in their career. I'd put this team up against any other region in the country.
