PAST AND PRESENT BENGALS PLAYERS SHARE EXPERIENCES AND INSIGHTS AT FUNDRAISING EVENT
Cincinnati (May 1, 2019) – Over $100,000 was raised for the Andy & JJ Dalton Foundation and Ken Anderson Alliance through Legends: Past and Present on Tuesday, April 30. Former and current Bengals players took part in a panel discussion that explored topics including their careers and experiences as NFL football players. The panel also took questions from guests.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, former Bengals Quarterback Ken Anderson (1971-1986), Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, former Bengals wide receiver Cris Collinsworth (1981-1988), former Bengals offensive tackle AnthonyMuñoz (1980–1992), Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert, former Bengals tight end Bob Trumpy (1968–1977), Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap, former Bengals defensive linemanMike Reid (1970–1974), Bengals punter Kevin Huber, former Bengals kicker Jim Breech (1980-1992), Bengals guard Clint Boling and former Bengals center Bob Johnson (1968-1979) served on the panel. Former Bengals offensive lineman Dave Lapham (1974–1983) emceed the event.
“It was fun having the opportunity to serve on a panel with my teammates and legendary Bengals players, as we discussed our lives and shared love for football,” said Andy Dalton. “I respect the work that Ken Anderson does in our community and am thankful that we had the chance to work together on this fundraising event.”
The evening also included live music from Dillon Dixon, dinner, drinks, a live auction and a silent auction featuring sports memorabilia.
“We appreciate everyone who helped to support Legends: Past and Present including our sponsors, guests, past and current players and volunteers,” said Ken Anderson. “It was great to have former and currents players come together to help support our community.”
