An immigrant's daring rescue of a child hanging from a balcony in Paris is bringing an offer of citizenship. Mamoudou Gassama, a 22-year-old from Mali, saw the child dangling from the fourth floor of an apartment building Saturday. He leapt into action, quickly scaling the building like a real-life Spider-Man to the cheers of the crowd below. He saved the child and a video of his effort went viral. He's already met with President Emanuel Macron, who has ordered Gassma's immigration status to be normalized immediately. Macron also invited Gassama to apply for citizenship. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo said Gassama's heroism is an example for all citizens.
