A woman is recovering after a jaguar attacked her for crossing over a barrier to snap a photo at an Arizona zoo. On Saturday, the woman in her 30's, crossed over a barrier of a female black jaguar's enclosure at Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park to take a selfie. The animal apparently reached out and grabbed her arm with its claws. A witness then reportedly shoved a water bottle into the cage to distract the jaguar and it let go of the woman. The woman sustained non-life threatening injuries to her arm. The zoo confirmed that the jaguar will not be put down as a result of the incident and stressed that barriers are in place for a reason.
