VIDEO: 1000FT "Wall Of Sand" Hits Chinese City During Massive Sandstorm

Think that the snow is bad? Try sand instead... 37MPH winds caused a massive sandstorm in the Chinese city of Zhangye, located near the Gobi Desert in the north-western province of Gansu. The storm itself hit the city with a nearly 1,000ft wall of sand that reduced visibility to 30 feet in less than five minutes. Emergency crews reacted quickly to direct traffic and avoid accidents on local highways.
