Hundreds of witches paddling down a river will make quite a Halloween story for those who saw it. Hundreds of women dressed up as witches along with a few warlocks and wizards paddled for six miles on Saturday down the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. The event is Standup Paddleboard Witch Paddle which was able to sneak in during three hours with no rain. This is the second year of the event in Portland and it grew from a few dozen paddlers a year ago to several hundred this year. Participants donated clothing to nonprofits Our House of Portland and Sunshine Division.
