Art Collector Shredded Banksy Print Hoping It Would Double In Value

An art collector who owned one of the 600 prints of Banksy's Girl With Balloon painting intentionally shred it, hoping it would double in value.  Instead, a print that was worth more than a half-million dollars is now worth about a dollar.  Art experts took to Twitter to urge anyone who owns a Banksy print not to shred it.  The street artist Banksy shocked the world after the original Girl With Balloon began to be shredded as the auction for it was ending in London last week.  Art experts say that the value of the original may have doubled in value because of the stunt.  But they said it cannot be duplicated and anyone who owns one of prints who tries to do the same will end up with something worth little more than a dollar.
