A seafood restaurant in Maine is under investigation for using marijuana to put lobsters at ease before cooking them. Customers at Charlotte's Legendary lobster Point in Seawall can request to have their lobster sedated with the drug when they order it. The sea creature is then placed in a box with some water, and marijuana smoke is blown inside to help calm them down. The state health department is currently looking into what effects the drug will have on the lobster's health. The restaurant has stopped using the sedation method because of the investigation, but the owner says she is confident they'll be able to resume soon.
