Utah Firefighter Adopts German Shepherd He Rescued During California Fires

A Utah firefighter is taking a furry friend he rescued from the California wildfires home.  Draper City firefighter Patrick found a German shepherd huddled under a tree during the raging Mendocino Complex Fire.  He decided to adopt the dog after it received medical treatment and ended up naming him Mendo.  The Mendocino County Animal Shelter said the Draper City Fire Department recently lost one of their firefighters, Matt Burchett, in the fire fight and Mendo will help them heal.
