Carlson Denies Bullying Miss America, Blames Mund For Lost Scholarships

Gretchen Carlson, who chairs the board of the Miss America Organization, denies bullying Miss America 2018.  Cara Mund, the current title holder from North Dakota, issued a scathing five-page letter on Friday.  She claimed she had been bullied, silenced and marginalized by the pageant's leadership after giving an interview earlier this month to the Press of Atlantic City in which she talked about troubles within the organization.  In her public letter, Mund said she felt like she was in a "Mean Girls" movie with people criticizing her clothes, mispronouncing her name and spreading information about her.  Carlson, a former Miss America and Fox News anchor, blamed Mund in a Twitter statement for costing the Miss America Organization a $75,000 increase in scholarships because of her explosive allegations.
