Kids will be kids as one West Boise neighborhood found out this morning when roughly 100 goats stormed their quiet streets looking for anything edible. Residents noticed the hungry interlopers around 7am, as they snacked on landscaping such as shrubs, flowers and trees. Within 90 minutes the herd was returned to their rightful owners - a company called We Rent Goats that specializes in clearing weeds and other vegetation the natural way with these escape artists. Apparently the goats had been clearing land nearby to help with fire suppression when they made a run for it. All the goats made it home safely, no injuries were reported, however the shrubbery in the neighborhood may need a couple months to recover.
