Woman Fired For Spiking Brownies With Laxatives At Going Away Party

Talk about a send off... A Michigan engineering company employee was fired after authorities determined she baked laxatives into brownies that were meant to be served at a going-away party. Saline Police were tipped off and confiscated the bogus brownies before they fell into the hands of the intended victim - the departing employee who had a contentious relationship with the suspect. No charges were filed since no one ate the tainted baked goods, however, it would've be considered a criminal offense if they were consumed. Police say the 47-year-old woman denied wrongdoing initially but confessed once she realized investigators would test the brownies.
