A teenager was simply trying to share a precious puppy with the internet when Facebook intervened... Dominic Ibaos, 16, loves his Xoloitzcuintli dogs (or Mexican hairless) very much - in fact he spent all his savings to get his prized possession Dante, a male Xolo. So when Dante became a father, it was a pretty big deal for Ibaos. He excitedly posted pictures announcing the birth, not realizing that the Xolo pups could be mistaken for something else entirely. Specifically a puppy named Dimitri caught the attention of Facebook, who promptly removed the puppy's picture from the social media site. Facebook said that the photo ‘didn’t follow their community standards’.
Ibaos told the DailyMail: ‘It’s really hard for me to see the penis perspective because when I look at it I always just see the puppy. ‘I got a notification saying it had been blocked a few minutes after I posted it to the group. ‘At that time I didn’t realize it looked like a penis because when I first posted it to Facebook all I saw was a photograph of an innocent puppy. It actually made me really angry for a moment, but I feel better about it now because people find it hilarious."
Dimitri was the only completely hairless puppy in his litter of three. Dad Dante is already a local celebrity of sorts in Ibaos' hometown thanks to his goofy namesake in Disney Pixar’s Coco.
