The new Playmate of the Year is... Nina Daniele! Nina's 11-page spread is a retro-inspired tribute to Femlin, a pinup character created by Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. The character debuted in the magazine all the way back in May 1963. But Nina's title isn't the only new thing happening at Playboy; they also got a brand new motto - Entertainment For All. Cooper Hefner, Hugh's son and the chief creative officer at Playboy, said of the branding change:
“Playboy’s content has always been and always will be created with the male point-of-view and our take of masculinity in mind,” he wrote in a release sent to Fox News. “But the truth is the Playboy brand now appeals to a hugely diverse group of fans, including a very substantive way, women who intersect with Playboy at our events, clubs and through our products and fashion collaborations.”
Nina's issue hits newsstands everywhere April 24th.
