Singapore Airlines was named the World's Best Airline for the sixth time in the history of the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Qatar Airways, last year's winner and a nine-time holder of the title, took second. Cathay Pacific was third, ANA fourth and Turkish Airlines fifth, from a survey covering more than 300 airlines.
The awards are decided by passenger votes rather than a panel, which is both their strength and the reason people argue about them every September.
