Ohio Turnpike Overcharges EZ pass Accounts

COLUMBUS - The Ohio Turnpike says they are aware of inaccurate charges that have been posted to multiple Ohio Turnpike E-ZPass accounts. They said a scheduled update was performed to improve functionality of their current E-ZPass website. As a result of this update many E-ZPass accountholders were charged a higher dollar amount than normal. Some drivers were charged as much as $250 for a toll.

The turnpike says they are working to resolve this issue and will be crediting customer accounts that may have been overcharged and that no account information has been compromised.

If your E-ZPass was overcharged you can contact the Ohio Turnpike customer service department: HERE
