PICS: Police Looking for Drivers who Drove onto Sidewalk, Injuring One

( Over-the-Rhine ) - Cincinnati Police are asking for help finding at least two people involved in an incident from Saturday morning where two vehicle drove onto the sidewalk to run over pedestrians.

Police were called to the area of E McMicken and Walnut around 6:30am. The two vehicles have been described as:

  • 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan, silver, Ohio plate HBX5103 with passenger side damage
  • Ford Fusion, silver, with heavy front end damage

Those two vehicles were allegedly trying to run over people on the sidewalk, and police say the van eventually hit a woman and pinned her against a parked car, causing serious injury.

The vehicles allegedly drove south on Walnut. Investigators say the van went to a nearby gas station, and the driver briefly got out. That driver has been identified as Archie Williams.

Police say Williams then got back in a drove away.
