( Cincinnati ) - Police have released the body cam footage from an incident at Cheapside Cafe on Wednesday where a man who was allegedly caused a disturbance was told to leave.

The incident started to spread on social media, and police say they're releasing the full video of the interaction "in the spirit of transparency" and that "things are not always as they appear or as they are described in social media posts."
Cincinnati City Councilwoman Tamaya Dennard posted about it. She deleted the original post and then made this statement on Wednesday afternoon:
A short time later Wednesday, the owner of Cheapside made a post explaining things from his point of view:
The post closes by apologizing to anyone who was "offended by our decision to ask the police for help in dealing with this gentleman."
