Major League Soccer is Coming to Cincinnati

This is the day soccer fans in Cincinnati have been waiting for. Major League Soccer is set to announce that a new franchise will be calling the Queen City home. F.C. Cincinnati has set attendance records in the United Soccer League and has earned a call up to the majors.

The league told us last week that it was coming to Cincinnati today for a "major announcement" and it was Newsradio 700WLW's Bill Cunningham who first reported that the announcement was going to be the invite to join the league.

The announcement will be made at 5:30 at Rhinegiest Brewery in Over the Rhine and is by invitation only. There is a public watch party on Fountain Square.
