Those waiting to see the new movie about John Gotti that was filmed in the Tristate may be very disappointed. Gotti has made its debut at the Cannes Film festival and is getting horrible reviews.
The Hollywood Reporter calls it "pretty terrible, poorly written, ridiculous in spots and just plain dull". The Times writes it is filled with "old mafia-movie clichés and a lack of zing that sink this dreadfully uninspired biopic". Indiewire gives it a grade of D.
