It is the kind of celebration that FC Cincinnati is hoping to have here. In Los Angeles, LAFC opened its brand new $350 million soccer stadium Sunday night. Bank of California stadium is the first new stadium to open in LA in over 50 years.
Representatives from FC Cincinnati were in Los Angeles for the stadium opening. President Jeff Berding tweeting that he was taking lots of notes and photos to get ideas for construction of their new soccer stadium in the West End. Berding did not say if he got to talk to the MLS commissioner while he was in L-A about the status of Cincinnati's bid for an expansion franchise.
