Warren County Teen Dead After Multi-Vehicle Crash

( Clear Creek Township, OH ) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a four car accident that claimed the life of a 16 year-old this morning in Clear Creek Township. 

According to a preliminary investigation, Thomas Williamitis, of Oregonia, was traveling northbound on SR 48. His car then went left of center and struck two southbound vehicles. 

One was operated by 30 year-old Jessica Zimmer, and another by 47 year-old Terry Vandeberg. A fourth vehicle was struck by debris. 

Williamitis, a junior at Dayton Christian High School, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Ms. Vandeberg was transported via Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital with life threatening injuries. Ms. Zimmer sustained minor injuries. The driver of the fourth car was unharmed. 

All occupants were wearing seatbelts, with the exception of Ms. Vandeberg. 

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
