(Butler County, Oh.)--He was talked about as a potential contender for the U.S. Senate but now Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says he is staying put in Ohio.
Jones says, while he would have beat anyone running for senate in Ohio, he feels he is more effective here than in Washington.
He announced Tuesday, that he has no plans to jump into the U.S. Senate Race after Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandell dropped out. Mandell, issued a statement stating his desire to be home with his wife, as she battles heath issues.
