Warsaw, Ky. (March 5, 2017) -A Kentucky teenager was among two people killed in a crash in Gallatin County Kentucky on Saturday.
The Kentucky State Police say the accident happened on US 42 in Gallatin County east of Warsaw.on March 4th, 2017 at 3:50 in the afternoon.
The Preliminary investigation found that by Kyle Allbecker, 20 of Cincinnati OH, was traveling eastbound when he lost control and crossed into the opposing lane, striking another vehicle head on. Allbecker, his 16 year old female passenger, and a 15 year old male passenger were not wearing seat belts. Allbecker was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Gallatin County Coroner. The 16 year old female passenger was also pronounced deceased at the scene and the 15 year old male passenger was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital with serious injuries.
The second vehicle was operated by Joey Slone, 52 of Union KY, Slone was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital for his injuries and his passenger Tonia Slone was treated at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
