Reds v Indians

The Reds take on the Cleveland Indians today for the 4th time this Cactus League season.  Mike Leake goes to the mound against Corey Kluber.

Cingrani's Day

It was a mixed day for Tony CIngrani yesterday but you don't want repeated in the regular season.  He gave up 2 runs on 2 hits and a walk in the first.  A Devin Mesoraco error also played a part.  He then retired 10 straight before losing it in the 5th.  Cingrani gave up 3 runs on 5th.  He walked back to back batters in that inning plus a hit, a balk and a wild pitch.

 Votto Goes Deep

Joey Votto heads back to the Reds dugout after hitting a first inning home run Sunday.

 Billy the Disruptor

Billy Hamilton continues to amaze this spring training.  It was a tie game yesterday in the 7th when Hamilton reached first on a bunt single.  He promptly stole second base, then third base.  There's is no question it had an affect on A's pitcher Josh Lindblom who then gave up a monster home run to Brandon Phillips.

Dat Dude BP hit a 2 run blast after Billy Hamilton stole both second and third base.

Now that's a Shift

Oakland A's second baseman Jake Elmore plays a short right field when Jay Bruce came to the plate in the First. Shortstop Jed Lowrie was playing on the first base side of second base.

Hank and Marty

Marty B. got to meet the newest member of the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday.  Hank, named after Hank Aaron was a stray the Brewers found early in spring training and have adopted.
