Johnny Cueto to make 4th Start

The Reds head to Glendale today to face the LA Dodgers.  This is great news since the Ball Park is about 10 minutes from my hotel.   Johnny Cueto was almost untouchable in his last start against the LA Angels.  I think you can expect him to go at least 5 innings this afternoon.

K's adding up for Votto

First baseman Joey Votto struck out twice yesterday and now has 11 K's this spring.  This is not anything unusual for Votto.  He has had double digit strikeouts the last 6 springs.

2008-11k's, 2009-11k's, 2010-10k's, 2011-16k's, 2012-19k's, 2013-12k's

Phillips to Lead-Off?

Brandon Phillips was in the lead-off spot yesterday against the Rockies but don't read to much into it.  It was simply a way to get him some more at bats.

Brandon Phillips stands at the plate yesterday in the first inning.

Chris Heisey's Day

Outfielder Chris Heisey continues to have a very good spring Training.  Heisey had 2 hits, scored a run and made a great catch off the bat of Michael Cuddyer.  He's hitting .370 on the spring.

Chris Heisey stands on second base after doubling in the first inning.

Yid's Greatest Hits

Sounds like a good day to break another window

Salt River Fields

If you're heading out to Arizona to catch Reds baseball, it is worth to trip to North Scottsdale to see the home of the Rockies and D-Backs
