The things I do for news...

This was actually from my second ride.   I wasn't sitting in the camera seat the first time.  Good thing my ear infection has subsided.

How's the ride?  Smooth.  Because you're hanging from the coaster, instead of sitting in a car, there aren't the usual jostles and bumps.

And it is fast.  But, it's a long enough ride that you don't feel like it's ended just as it's started.  I've been on another inverted coaster, Kings Island's sister park, Michigan Adventure, and the scales and lay-outs are different.  With Banshee, I didn't feel like my dangling legs were going to get chopped off, like in Michigan.

And they tell me the night-version will be lit differently, giving riders a whole new experience.
