Team 700WLW, at the Redlegs Run, 2012.  This was my last competitive event.  But, I'm returning to one of my favorite hobbies: running.

The Redlegs 5k was my first real race since high school, and holds a special place in my heart.  It's this Saturday, May 31st.

The link with all the information is right here.  Online registration is closed, but, there's still time to sign up in person.

The Redlegs Run, which does include a 5k, a 10k, a one mile family run/walk, and Gapper's Kids Fun Run, is a fundraiser for the Reds Community Fund, which makes baseball available to youth.

There are 4,000 people signed up so far for this year's event, which ends inside Great American Ball Park.

Last year, 4,300 people ran and walked, and generated more than $180,000 for the Reds Community Fund.
