Cincinnati Reds LHP Aroldis Chapman is with the Louisville Bats and will continue his Major League rehab assignment at Louisville Slugger Field tonight. Game time is set for 6:35 p.m. against the Norfolk Tides. The 26-year-old Cuban is scheduled to start and pitch one inning.
Chapman made two rehab appearances with the Class A Dayton Dragons this past Thursday and Saturday, pitching two scoreless innings with three strikeouts. He had been sidelined since being struck in the head with a line drive on March 19 in spring training. He has a 9-7 record and 3.97 ERA in 43 games (14 starts) with the Bats, last appearing with Louisville in 2011 on ML rehab.
