Dalton on contract and critics
Paul Dehner, Jr, Enquirer
"The people who are the critics, they look at all of the negatives. They don't look at all of the stuff that I've accomplished. They don't look at that I'm one of three quarterbacks in the history of the NFL to do certain things. They don't look at that kind of stuff. They want to find ways to tear me down, but I'm not worried about that. They can say whatever they want. All that matters is what everyone believes in this organization and what I believe in myself. That's how I go about my business."

Momentous Moment
Geoff Hobson,
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis’ new T-Shirt slogan says, “Challenge the Moment.” It’s almost like it was custom made for his quarterback Andy Dalton, but the rest of his roster seeking a breakout year in the postseason also has plenty of challenges:

Dalton: 'I'm the face of the franchise'
Coley Harvey,
Asked whether he felt he was the face of a franchise that also features star receiver AJ Green, Dalton didn't flinch as he said "I do."
"Everything that [coach] Marvin [Lewis] has said, [offensive coordinator] Hue [Jackson] has said, and what everybody here has told me is that, and they've told everybody that," Dalton said. "So I'm confident with that. I hope to spend a lot of my career here."

Must read/watch: An amazing story about Giovani Bernard and his Humble Roots.  "I know who I am. I know what things I cherish in life. I know what things are necessary in life and what I need in life," the 22-year-old says. "A big ol', you know, Rolls-Royce? I don't need that. It's just not -- it's not the type of person that I am."
