Skinner: Jones to miss time with foot injury
With Andy Dalton signed, the focus shifts to the contract status of AJ Green and Vontaze Burfict. With the injury to Marvin Jones, I've been thinking about positional depth, impact of players on this roster, strengths and weaknesses of this team.
So, let me ask you this:

John Henry: MLB must adapt
To Henry, the matter is not trivial, and he insists action must be taken to quicken the pace. “Attention spans are shortening in regard to media. That has been the case for some time now,” he said. “Making fans wait between pitches isn’t a big issue at the ballpark, but on TV it’s very easy to switch to something else. There is too much waiting in baseball for 21st century television viewers.”

What if baseball games ended in a tie after certain points?
Matt Snyder, CBS Sports
throughout the course of a 162-game schedule, having a few ties isn't going to crush the standings or anything. The NFL has ties in a 16-game schedule and seems to do just fine. This is 10 times as many games.
I feel like I'd let it go to at least 12 innings, though, and I could see arguments for 14. At least a small part of me agrees with McCarthy that seeing 19 innings is "dumb," though. More than twice a regulation game is excessive
