From Dave:
IF, the Brewers go 42-42 the rest of the way, YOUR Reds have to go 51-36 just to tie. Again you're  getting out over your ski's, when are you going to learn Lance, this Reds team AIN'T going anywhere, it's the Reds for GOD's Sake! 81-81, go get your t's shirt at Mejiers, clown!

Longtime Reds owner selling stake in team
Steve Watkins, Cincinnati Business Courier
The trust is selling the stake in the Reds because of a Major League Baseball policy that prohibits charities from owning teams. The Nippert Trust is set up such that it has to distribute all of its assets, which at one time totaled well more than $100 million, to charity. It can’t distribute the Reds ownership to charity, so it has to sell it.

Sean Marshall has surgery
Reds LHP Sean Marshall had season ending surgery Tuesday morning to debride his left shoulder and inject stem cells to facilitate the healing. The 31-year old Marshall has a 7.71 ERA in 15 appearances this season. He is 5-6 3.27 and 9 saves in 104 games over three plus seasons. He was acquired in a trade with the Cubs in December 2011, in exchange for Travis Wood, Dave Sappelt and Ronald Torreyes.
Marshall has battle shoulder issues for two seasons. He's pitched just 24.1 innings in 31 appearances since Opening Day 2013. He is owed $5.5M this year and $6.5M in 2015. Carer stats HERE.

Yeah, well, here's what fixing Thursday's match would be – lame … pathetic … uninspiring … pitiful … and, most importantly, completely nonsensical in the interest of actually benefitting the American team.
