Tony Cingrani is sticking around. The much debated roster shuffle is complete.
Mat Latos is activated, Tony Cingrani heads to the bullpen and Sean Marshall heads to the DL. Reds placed LHP Sean Marshall on the DL with a left shoulder strain.
Cingrani ML career as reliever:
8 games, 12.1 IN, 11 H, 5 R, 9 BB, 20 K, 3.65 ERA, 1.62 WHIP.

Can Cingrani throw enough strikes to be effective?
Can he pitch out of the pen?
His troubles as a starter this year have come early on in games.
