Final: Reds 9 Indians 2 Boxscore

Never seen this before:
The Indians were trying to mount a comeback vs Johnny Cueto in the 7th inning.
Cueto allowed a walk, single, and a Yan Gomes RBI double, cutting the Reds lead to 6-2 with nobody out. But a wild pitch from Jumbo Diaz, while warming up in the bullpen, sailed onto field at the same time as Gomes doubled. Jay Bruce fielded the Gomes ball off the wall and threw to cutoff man Kristopher Negron. The bullpen ball crossed near Negron, who threw to Cozart at 2nd base, attempting to get a sliding Gomes. Meanwhile, David Murphy rounded 3rd base, saw the errant ball from the bullpen on the ground in shallow CF and didn't immediately return to 3rd. Cozart threw to Santiago who tagged Murphy. Out. Poor guy. Not sure how that is fair.

Here is post game reaction from the players

One night after getting an earful from their manager, the Reds got their act together, putting pitching, defense and hitting together in a 9-2 win over the Indians. Monday night, Bryan Price was not pleased with the focus and effort. Tuesday night was a different story. Johnny Cueto tossed his fourth complete game of the season and watched his offense provide him with the most runs the Reds had scored in 25 games.

T1: Ryan Ludwick 2B scores Todd Frazier after error on throw, 1-0 Reds

T2: Ramon Santiago 3-run HR, 4-1 Reds

Starting pitching:
Johnny Cueto: 4th CG, 5 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 6 K, 117 pitches. Now 13-6 2.04.
*4 pitch 6th inning, 6 pitch 8th inning.
*Shot at 20 wins? Figures to get 9 more starts.
*For a guy that entered night with NL high 162.2 innings, Bryan Price sure does let Cueto pitch a lot of late innings with big leads.
