Hocking Hills
We rented a cabin and had a fun three days at Hocking Hills in Logan, OH.
The weather was perfect and we did everything. I crossed zip lining off my Bucket List. We went hiking, canoeing, go kart racing, horseback riding, played putt-putt and saw a movie. I can't thank everyone enough for the tips on things to do and places to eat.

Things we did, where we stayed and what we ate:

Hocking Hills is located in Logan, Ohio in Southeastern Ohio, about 145 from downtown Cincinnati.

Cabin: Old Man's Cave Chalet. We stayed in the Blackjack cabin.

Things to do
Zip Line: Hocking Hill's Canopy Tours. We did the original canopy tour: 10 zip lines and 5 skybridges and then a rappel down from the top. Awesome. Great tour guides. Lasted about 2.5 hours. What a view! Kids 1/2 off on trips Mon-Thur.
Hiking: We hiked Old Man's Cave. The views are amazing. This was the only trail we hiked. Casey and Peyton tried one trail and were ready to move on to other stuff. Kelly and I could have hiked a different trail each day.
Canoeing: The Original Hocking Hills Adventures. We Crockett's Run, a 5 mile trip. You take a van to the starting point and paddle back. Pretty basic. No rough currents. Cool scenery. Relaxing.
Horseback Riding: Happy Trails Horsesback Rides. Operated by a family. Good people. They offer various types of rides. We did the Picnic with the Horses. We ordered a lunch (sandwich, chips, and a drink) and packed it for the trip. We stopped to eat about 45 minutes into the ride.
Go Karts: We had blast, racing for 10-minutes, with the track to ourselves.
Mini-Golf: Mini-Golf at Hocking Hills Market. Fun course. A lot of shops in the complex.
Movie: Fun Barn in Nelsonville has new movies for $4 and a fun center with games

Places to eat
Millstone BBQ: Had a fantastic slab of ribs and 1/4 chicken.
Hocking Hills Dining Lodge: Pretty good lunch.
The Olde Dutch Restaurant and Banquet Hause:
Amish-inspired dining, specializing in lunch and dinner buffets as well as a full menu to choose from. Broasted chicken our specialty. Located in historic Rempel's Grove, a shopping and activities destination. 12791 State Route 664 S, Logan Phone: 740-385-1000

Ice Cream: If you stay at Old Man's Chalet, there is a family grocery store nearby. They have 24 different flavors of soft-serve ice cream. Excellent.
