A Delta Air lines plane was forced to make an emergency landing when the windshield of the cockpit window shattered mid-flight.

The aircraft was flying above 38,000 feet when the pilot informed passengers over the intercom he would be making an emergency landing. The Boeing 767-300, which was travelling from Atlanta to Los Angeles, landed in Albuquerque 15 minutes after the announcement was made.

There was no loss of cabin pressure during this time.
