(Fairfield,OH) - The Fairfield Police Department responded to a crash on South Gilmore Road at Resor Road on Sunday afternoon.
At 1:41p.m. a motorcycle traveling southbound on South Gilmore Road collided with a SUV that was turning left onto westbound Resor Road.
The driver of the SUV was taken to Mercy Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was also taken to Mercy Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
No additional information has been released at this time and the crash is still under investigation.
