Redsfest presented by PNC Bank will be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Downtown Cincinnati on Friday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now at reds.com/redsfest, (513) 381-REDS, Great American Ball Park box office and select Kroger stores with Ticketmaster retail outlets.
Two-day tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and younger. One-day tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for kids. Children three and under are admitted free.
Redsfest features 300,000 square feet of autograph and photo booths with current and former Reds players, interactive games for fans of all ages, hard-to-find memorabilia and much more.
“Again this year we are expanding Redsfest to offer families additional space for fun and games,” said Phil Castellini, Reds Chief Operating Officer. “The third floor of the convention center will be dedicated to kid-friendly interactives while keeping the traditional Redsfest offerings on the main floor.”
Over 50 current and former players and coaches are expected to attend including fan favorites Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier, Billy Hamilton and new manager Bryan Price along with Reds Hall of Famers and alumni Tom Browning, Eric Davis and Dave Parker. The first 12,000 fans each day will receive a free gift bag featuring a Reds scarf. Please visit reds.com/redsfest to review new entry policies for Redsfest, intended to help ease crowd flow in and out of the convention center.
All current and former players and coaches in attendance will be introduced live on the Redsfest Main Stage on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Programming on the Main Stage features kids-only press conferences involving current players, Reds alumni “bull session” and the Reds Hot Stove Report with manager Bryan Price, general manager Walt Jocketty and Reds coaches.
Clubs for Kids: Memberships to Reds Rookies, the official baby fan club of the Reds, and Reds Heads Kids Club, the official kids club of the Reds, will be on sale at Redsfest at the Reds Heads booths located on the main floor and the third floor. Membership kits include exclusive club gear and a member booklet with vouchers for a free Reds ticket, unique ballpark experiences and more. Membership purchases at Redsfest will include an exclusive benefit or item, while supplies last.
Tickets for the 2014 season: Reds Ticketing representatives will be available for fans who want to buy early and save with 2014 ticket plans or find out more information about new mini-plan options. Select single game tickets will also be on sale.
The main floor of Redsfest includes the Reds Connect Zone, a social media area with photo booths, phone charging stations, internet access and appearances by Reds players and bloggers. The area also includes expanded space for fans to watch live broadcasts from Reds on Radio network affiliates.
Redsfest Autograph Opportunities: There are three types of autograph sessions at Redsfest: General Public, Season Ticket Holders Only and Kids Only. Over 100 player autograph and photograph sessions are free with a Redsfest general admission ticket. Specific times for player appearances will be announced 30 minutes prior to the autograph and photo sessions on the info screens on the Redsfest floor and on the Reds official Twitter account @Reds. Fans can also receive these via text alerts by texting REDSFEST to 66128.
Fans can register now at reds.com/redsfest to win an autograph opportunity with players at one of four autograph sessions on Friday, Dec. 6 or four sessions on Saturday, Dec. 7 through an online sweepstakes.
Fans can also guarantee a spot in these sessions by placing a bid on an “Elite Pass” for either day at reds.com/redsfest. The auctions began today and run through Friday, Nov. 29.
The Reds Hall of Fame & Museum will have an expansive Redsfest display, featuring the ‘75, ‘76 and ‘90 World Series trophies, Reds artifacts, Reds trivia and more. Redsfest is a great opportunity to purchase a 2014 Reds HOF & Museum membership.
