(HEBRON, Ky.)- Allegiant is now offering nonstop jet service from CVG to Fort Lauderdale, Florida beginning in October and to Phoenix, Arizona starting in November.

Allegiant will also add weekly flights to Orlando, St. Pete and Punta Gorda from the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Since adding nonstop flights in February 2014 to Orlando, Allegiant has also added nonstop flights to two additional Florida vacation spots as well as seasonal summer flights to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The new flights will take off to Fort Lauderdale four times a week from CVG to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. New flights to Phoenix will take off twice a week from CVG and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

In a press release, Allegiant Travel Company stated, "Since we began operating in Cincinnati earlier this year, the community has shown an overwhelming appetite for access to affordable vacation travel. We are confident the community will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to these new destinations and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together."

Cincinnati is the fastest-growing origination city in Allegiant's 15-year history. The company hopes that the new flights will more than double their business at CVG. This increases Allegiant's seven weekly flights to 18, serving six destinations.
