Woman Stuck by Plane Propeller has Died

(Warren County, Oh.)--The Start Skydiving employee, injured after being struck by a propeller, has died.

Sarah Rhoads, 24, was fatally injured after she was hit in the head by the propeller on May 27, at the skydive center near Middletown Regional Airport. The airplane was running idle on the tarmac, when Rhoads accidentally walked into the propeller.

Rhoades, was immediately flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, were she died on June 3. She reportedly worked for the sky diving company Start Skydiving, based out of Middletown.
