Two people are seriously injured after a Tuesday afternoon collision on State Route 133 in Tate Township, Clermont County.
State troopers said Nicholas McKeon, 28, of Cincinnati, was southbound. He attempted to pass in a "no passing zone" and collided head on with a car driven by Jeffrey Coulter, 48, of Bethel. Coulter's car went off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.
Both drivers were trapped, and had to be extricated mechanically. Both were taken by Air Care medical helicopter to UC Medical Center.
Troopers said both men were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
